Meet Brandi Bonaparte

Brandi Bonaparte, director of Human Resources for Facilities Management, uses optimism to shape her approach to work and life. Brandi exudes positivity, firmly believing in the transformative power of a positive mindset. “I’m a person who is always looking in a positive direction,” Brandi notes. “I think that any situation can turn itself around. I believe that and I think a lot of times I manifest that in my own life.”

What is your favorite thing about your current role?

I'm always so excited when employees have babies. It doesn’t have to be their child—it can be a grandchild. To celebrate the employees, I try to buy everyone who is having a child or a grandchild a gift. It makes me happy, and it makes them feel appreciated and special. They love it, and I love it too.

Do you have any hidden talents?

I’m a really good hair braider. I can do any braid and I also can add hair. My daughter’s school has a fall fair every year. In addition to having rock climbing and face painting, they often have a hair braiding station. The kids will come to get their hair spray painted, beaded, and braided. I love helping at the fair!

What brings you joy or makes you smile?

Jade, my daughter, brings me so much joy. When I’m having a bad day, I look forward to picking her up from school; it changes my whole mood. That kind of love and joy—I can't explain it. She and I love to watch Food Network and HGTV. House Hunters is our favorite TV show. We also love to bake together!

 What is something that people would be surprised to learn about you?

I’m going to be 50 in three months. People are usually shocked when I tell them. It’s a milestone birthday, and I’m thankful to be here.
