Russ Berrie Stairwell Breakthrough Begin Early July
June 4, 2025
Beginning on Monday, July 7, construction crews will begin work that involves making structural breakthroughs into the Russ Berrie Building stairwells as part of the Vagelos Innovation Laboratories-related construction.
Highlights of What to Expect:
- This work will involve cutting through concrete and reinforcing with steel, which will generate noticeable noise, vibrations, and dust.
- While all safety and mitigation measures will be in place, please plan accordingly, as these disruptions may affect multiple floors.
- We expect the work to take approximately two months, progressing one floor per week, with a couple of days per week involving louder activity such as masonry sawing and chipping.
Floor-by-floor schedules will be made available to affected occupants.
