NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital Building Exterior Façade Restoration Project

NewYork-Presbyterian Facilities Design & Construction will be conducting exterior façade restoration work at Presbyterian Hospital Building from August 9, 2023, through approximately November 25, 2023. These repairs are being completed in accordance with Local Law 11, a New York City law that requires property owners to inspect all exterior walls of commercial and residential buildings higher than six stories every five years.
Highlights of What to Expect
- Construction activity will take place from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mondays through Fridays.
- While access to the inside of the building is not required, the Contractor will be performing the façade work from suspended scaffolds on the outside south courtyard of the building.
- Occupants will experience noise from the construction. Workmen on scaffolds will be visible outside of the curtain glass windows.
- Window shades should be drawn at all patient care areas or other sensitive spaces.
