Fire Safety Dispatch: Keeping Your Hallways Clutter-Free

Hallway clutter can obstruct aisles, corridors, and entryways need for exit access during an emergency. This summer, in collaboration with Space Planning and Custodial Operations, the director of Fire Safety Operations launched an initiative to clean up the hallways and ensure that access to those key exit points is unimpeded.

The strategy proved successful! Clutter was promptly removed, and the community was reminded that good housekeeping means good safety. Here are a few examples of the campus-wide clean-up:
