What Facilities Management & Campus Services means to me

At the close of fiscal year 2016, staff and students across the Columbia University Medical Center campus thanked Facilities Management and Campus Services, sharing stories about the successful partnerships over the past year that have advanced the medical center.

The division of Facilities Management and Campus Services is CUMC’s largest administrative unit, comprising more than 300 employees and touching all points of the campus. In addition to overseeing and maintaining 3.5 million gross square feet of research, teaching, clinical, and residential space, the Facilities Management & Campus Services division provides valuable resources and service to various members of the medical center community. Facilities Management departments include Capital Project Management, Facilities Compliance, Engineering, Operations/Custodial, and Housing. Campus Services departments include the Faculty Club, the Augustus C. Long Health Sciences Library, Student Health Services, and Public Safety.
