Black Bldg.: Sidewalk Bridge Installation Beginning July 20

We will be installing a sidewalk bridge at the William Black Building, along Fort Washington Avenue near the building's loading dock entrance, beginning at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20. We currently anticipate the sidewalk bridge installation will be completed by Tuesday, July 26.   

• While the sidewalk bridge is being constructed, the entrance to the Black Building/VP&S loading dock will remain accessible; however, there will be short periods in which the loading dock will be blocked. Representatives onsite will coordinate with delivery drivers to minimize any impact.  
• Additionally, bicycles located on the bicycle rack located outside of the Black Building will need to be removed by 4 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20. The bicycle rack will be removed temporarily during the sidewalk bridge installation and will be returned once the installation is completed.
