Black Bldg. Fume Hood Disruption on Floors 15-17, Nov. 6

Fume hood exhaust fans will be temporarily unavailable on floors 15, 16, and 17 of the William Black Building from 6 a.m. to approximately 10 a.m. on Monday, November 6, due to urgent repairs.

• During this time, laboratory users on floors 15, 16, and 17 are instructed to avoid using fume hoods and tightly seal all containers within the fume hood or remove and safely store containers elsewhere in the lab.
• Once service has been restored, Environmental Health and Safety will be onsite to check fume hood exhaust flow and recertify the hoods.
