Black and VP&S Bldgs.: Domestic Water Shutdown Affecting Select Floors, Oct. 15

Domestic water service will be temporarily unavailable due to a scheduled hot and cold water shutdown in the William Black and Vagelos Physician and Surgeons Buildings from 5 p.m. on Friday, October 15, 2021, to approximately 12 a.m. on Saturday, October 16, 2021.
- In the Black Building, there will be no hot or cold water from the basement up through and including the 5th floor.
- In the VP&S Building, there will be no hot or cold water from the basement up through and including the 9th floor.
During this time, lab sink water, eyewash stations, and safety showers on the affected floors will be impacted; bathrooms, however, will not be affected and will continue to operate normally. Accordingly, please consider limiting research operations that have significant potential for splash or face and bodily exposure during the shutdown.
