Vanderbilt Clinic 8th floor Sterilizer Installation begins November 20

Beginning on Thursday, November 20, we will begin minor construction on the 8th floor of the Vanderbilt Clinic in preparation for the installation of two new sterilizers for Central Sterile. Work will take place on weekends, from 6 p.m. on Fridays to 3 p.m. on Sundays.

Highlights of what to expect:

• Site protection will always be in place on the ceilings.
• During work hours, expect periods of increased noise due to drilling and chopping. There may be times when you experience minor vibration.

We expect the construction work to conclude by mid-January 2026. Activities listed are subject to change based on approval, University events, other requirements, and unforeseen circumstances.
