Vanderbilt Clinic Hot Water Disruption, 8 p.m. Oct. 24-8 a.m. Oct. 25

Hot water service will be temporarily unavailable throughout the Vanderbilt Clinic from 8 p.m. on Friday, October 24, until approximately 8 a.m. on Saturday, October 25, while NewYork-Presbyterian Facilities Operations performs necessary maintenance.

Highlights of what to expect:

• Cold water will remain operational throughout the building.
• Eyewash devices and overhead emergency shower units will be functional but will be supplied with cold water only. Accordingly, please consider limiting research operations that have significant potential for splash or face and bodily exposure during the shutdown.
• Once hot water service returns, please run your faucets for a few minutes to ensure constant flow and pressure. Water may appear brown at first, but it will clear as it runs.
