VP&S Bldg. Laboratory Wastewater Pipe Repairs, Dec. 6, 7 a.m.-2 p.m.

Due to urgent repairs of a laboratory wastewater pipe, the following services will be temporarily unavailable from 7 a.m. to approximately 2 p.m. on Saturday, December 6:

• All laboratory sinks located on the northwest side of the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons Building
• Reverse osmosis water service of the 5th floor of the William Black and Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons Buildings

Please avoid using laboratory sinks located on the northwest side of the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons Building while we complete the repairs.

Once the repairs are complete, please use only diluted bleach to disinfect biological liquids. When discharging the disinfected liquid to a laboratory sink, please flush with copious amounts of running water. This will help to mitigate future odors and prevent damage to the plumbing infrastructure.
