The Knowledge Center Expansion

Since its debut in 2015, the Knowledge Center at the Augustus C. Long Health Sciences Library provides flexible, technologically innovative spaces for students, faculty, and staff to learn, research, and gather. CUIMC Facilities recently completed an expansion to this transformative space that includes the former student lounge.

Open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, the expanded space encompasses the updated design and flexible layouts of the existing Knowledge Center and includes a quiet room, designated as a silent zone. Additional computer stations were also added to build on the library’s aim to engage the CUIMC community with information in innovative environments that foster a superior user experience.
