VP&S Bldg.: Steam Service Temporarily Unavailable, Jan.12

Steam systems are currently unavailable throughout the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons today, January 12, due to emergency repairs being conducted by NewYork-Presbyterian.
At this time, there is no hot water, sterilization, autoclaves, steam tables, or dishwashers available throughout the building. Eyewash devices and overhead emergency shower units will be functional, but will be supplied with cold water only. Accordingly, please consider limiting research operations that have significant potential for splash or face and bodily exposure during the shutdown.
