Update: Russ Berrie/School of Nursing Parking Lot Drilling, June 29, 2023

We will be conducting core drilling in the School of Nursing street level parking lot on Thursday, June 29, 2023 from 7 a.m. until the end of the day. Workers and equipment will be present and there will be a certain amount of noise.

UPDATE: Crews will be on site tomorrow to walk the probe locations and to set up some equipment to get scans.

They will be present at the Russ Berrie parking lot, School of Nursing sidewalk at Audubon Ave., and in stairwell 2 in Russ Berrie, at the midlanding between floors 2 and 4.  

This activity is related to construction of the new research building at the same site.

Highlights of What to Expect:

• Core drilling will begin at 7 a.m. and last throughout the day. During this time, there will be intermittent periods of increased noise, vibration, and dust.
• Occupants of Russ Berrie and the School of Nursing will see crews and equipment in SON street level parking lot throughout the day.
• The SON underground parking lot will remain open and operational while the core drilling is being performed. Parking will NOT be impacted by this work.
