Columbia University Department of Public Safety, the New York City Police Department, and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) are once again partnering for the DEA’s National Prescription Drug Take-Back Day, a free service open to all members of Columbia and its neighboring communities.

On Saturday, October 28, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., individuals may anonymously turn in their unused or expired prescription medication for safe disposal at the following University locations; only pills or patches will be accepted for disposal:

  • Medical Center: In front of the Roy and Diana Vagelos Education Center, 104 Haven Avenue
  • Morningside: College Walk, 116th Street and Broadway
