The vacuum system remains temporarily unavailable throughout the building due to emergency repairs.
Per Environmental Health and Safety, investigators needing to withdraw media can employ an alternate manual approach using a mechanical pipetting device in the biosafety cabinet. Biosafety officers can be reached by email for consults at biosafety@columbia.edu.
