Hammer Bldg. UPDATES: Vacuum and Steam Restored, Select HVAC Systems Remain Temporarily Unavailable

Please note the following updates to disrupted systems in Hammer Health Sciences Center today, May 19.

Building-wide Vacuum Service Restored

• Vacuum system repairs are complete, and the service has been restored. 

Building-Wide Steam Service Restored

• Repairs to the Steam systems have concluded and service has been restored throughout Hammer Health Sciences Center. 

HVAC Disruption on Floors 15 and 16

• HVAC (heating, ventilation, and air conditioning) service remains temporarily unavailable on floors 15 and 16 due to emergency repairs. This disruption only affects ventilation on floors 15 and 16.
• Repairs are ongoing with anticipated completion on Thursday, May 25.
• Environmental rooms, fume hoods, and supplemental air conditioning units are not affected by this work and continue to operate normally.
• While the work is being completed, individuals may notice unusually warm/cold temperatures on the impacted floors.
