Hammer Bldg.: Knowledge Center Ceiling Work, Nov. 5, 12, 19

As part of our efforts to renovate the second floor of Hammer Health Sciences Center, we will be conducting ceiling work in the Knowledge Center on three consecutive Saturdays in November.

Highlights of What to Expect:

• Ceiling work will occur above the Knowledge Center ceiling from 7 a.m. to approximately 3 p.m. on November 5, November 12, and November 19. During this time, there will be intermittent periods of increased noise, vibration, and dust.
• Before the ceiling work commences, we will install temporary plastic tents to protect any affected areas within the Knowledge Center.
• While the ceiling work is being completed, several portions of the Knowledge Center will be temporarily unavailable. Please consider using other study locations within Hammer Health Sciences Center while the ceiling work is being performed.
• Once the work is completed, all affected areas will be wiped down and the carpet will be vacuumed.
