Black/VP&S Building Steam Disruption, Mar. 23, 4 p.m. - 8 p.m.

Due to repairs, the steam systems in the William Black and Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons Buildings will be temporarily unavailable from 4 p.m. to approximately 8 p.m. on Monday, March 23.

• While we conduct the repairs, there will be no hot water, heating, sterilization, autoclaves, steam tables, or dishwashers available throughout the building.
• During this time, occupants may also notice cooler-than-usual temperatures.
• Eyewash devices and overhead emergency shower units will be functional but will be supplied with cold water only. Accordingly, please consider limiting research operations with significant potential for splash or face-and-body exposure during the shutdown.
