What are your hidden talents?

Crocheting is one of my hidden talents. People who excel at crocheting can produce intricate and beautiful items, showcasing a unique and often underappreciated talent. It’s a wonderful way to express creativity and create handmade items.

Who are your role models/who has been a role model to you?

My mother always was my role model and played a significant role in shaping my values and my character. She will always be a source of inspiration for me, it's a special bond that influences various aspects of my life. I stand up when I talk about my mum. That's how much respect and love I have for her.

What advice would you give to your younger self?

If I could advise my younger self, I would suggest staying curious, embracing learning opportunities, and cultivating a balance between work and personal well-being. Life is a journey of continuous growth and each experience, both positive and challenging, contributes to our development. Also, don't forget to be kind to myself along the way.

What one word would you use to describe yourself? Why?

I would describe myself as honest. I prioritize truthfulness and sincerity in my actions and interactions. It implies a commitment to integrity and a genuine approach to dealing with others. Honesty is a core value for me, it reflects a belief in transparency and trustworthiness in my relationships and endeavors.

What is something you would like to see happen at CUIMC?

I would like to see more donations towards research programs and projects and a new Nobel Prize. Also, I'd like to see discoveries that contribute to medical knowledge and advancements; the implementation of innovative technologies to improve patient care and treatment outcomes; initiatives to address community health needs and promote overall well-being beyond the medical center; and a big focus on mental health and increased awareness and support for mental health programs and services.
