We will be conducting fire alarm testing in the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons from 6 p.m until approximately 9 p.m. on Thursday, February 23.

Domestic water service in Haven Towers and the Vagelos Education Center will be temporarily unavailable due to electrical panel and valve maintenance.

We will be conducting a fire alarm system test throughout the Irving Cancer Research Center on Saturday, February 18, from 7 a.m. until approximately 4 p.m.

Construction activity will take place in the William Black basement from February 9-20 to allow for restroom renovations.

We will be conducting a temporary electrical shutdown that will affect general lighting to floors LL2 through 8 of Hammer Health Sciences Center from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday, February 10.

Fort Washington Avenue will be temporarily closed between 165th and 168th Streets from 12:01 a.m. on Saturday, February 4, until approximately 11:59 p.m. on Sunday, February 5.

Due to urgent repairs, the reverse osmosis (RO) water system and acid waste system will be temporarily unavailable throughout Hammer Health Sciences Center today.

We will be conducting a fire alarm system test throughout the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons on Wednesday, January 25th from 6 - 8 p.m.

The low-rise elevator cars in ARB will be out of service for intermittent periods from approximately 7 p.m. until 8 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, due to emergency testing.

The ICRC freight elevator will be out of service from approximately 7 a.m. on Thursday, January 19 until 12 p.m. on Friday, January 20 due to installation of new doors.

Steam systems are currently unavailable throughout the Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons today, January 12, due to emergency repairs being conducted by NewYork-Presbyterian.

CUIMC Facilities has received several reports from occupants of the William Black and Vagelos College of Physicians & Surgeons buildings of an apparent steam leak.

Facilities Management has teams working to restore the many CUIMC spaces that were affected by last week’s cold snap and we are working with campus leaders to prioritize restoration efforts.

Following earlier outages caused by flooding in the nearby Presbyterian Building, normal power has been restored to floors 3 to 5 of VP&S and floors 7-9 of VC.
